Hi, I’m Kymbre.
I have been an equestrian for over 25 years, competing in hunter jumpers, eventing, and dressage. My horsemanship background includes experience with both positive reinforcement (R+) and Natural Horsemanship training methods, as well as two years teaching riding lessons in North Carolina. In addition to my equestrian career, I have practiced yoga for 15 years and earned my RYT 200 certification in 2020. For the past three years, I have taught yoga through the City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation, with a focus on restorative yoga and pain management.
My teaching style emphasizes functional movement, mobility, and strength-building to help students move more comfortably in their daily lives—think physical therapy with a Yoga twist! Yoga for Equestrians combines my experience as a Yoga instructor, equestrian, and riding instructor to address the unique physical and mental demands of riding. The Yoga for Equestrian Clinic uses the foundations of Yoga to build strength for a more stable seat, improve flexibility and body awareness, and develop the focus and confidence needed to manage the challenges and nerves that can come with riding. Whether you're looking to improve your position in the saddle, increase mobility, or create a stronger mind-body connection, this clinic is designed to support both horse and rider performance.
